Today I finally started my succession plan. I’ve been procrastinating on it for over a year but it feels good to have begun. Phase one was to compile a summary of assets and liabilities. I could so easily have toiled over what apps and file formats to use but the solution was easy in the end. I have a note in Bear containing the summary, which I’ve exported to PDF and will share with my wife and children in Apple Notes. I have a recurring task in Things (with a link to the Bear note) prompting me to review and update it every 6 months. I will then export to PDF and save the updated version back to Apple Notes. Getting old is fun!
